Urbanscapes is organised by KLue and is the first and only all-day “user-generated” creative arts festival. Urbanscapes aims to bring together communities and participants from the fields of music, arts, fashion/lifestyle and film under a single banner to showcase the best of the local scene. Previous Urbanscapes events took place in 2002 (Grappa Soho) and 2004 (KL Sentral) and 2008 (KL Performing Arts Centre). Urbanscapes 2009 will feature involvement from KLue's sister publications Junk and Tongue In Chic. Junk will be hosting the music stages, while Tongue In Chic will be bringing some colour and fashion flair to our marketplace.

KLue Urbanscapes 2009 – the city’s annual user, generated all, day creative arts festival. Last year’s edition totally rocked the house at KL Performing Arts Centre, and we’re really excited about possibilities this year! We’re going to be showcasing all the best that the city has to offer – music, arts, film, theatre and fashion, marketplace vendors and more. What’s more, YOU get to dictate the show and take part as well! Find out how you can be involved here.

Hello all Dudes & Dudettes…

It’s time for RiotRiot again. Same place, Same Playground, Different sound every gig [ ermmmm that’s what Foulworks & The Movement all about ], & a Different Vibes [ bad ,good, who cares ].

On 21st May…it’s not any historical date , nor any important megalomania event....both of us Sun & Ed Sickness reunited with our old buddies from the beat butchers movement non other than the scene underdogs- IvanX + Darth SiD.
Foulworks & LAH'LAH'LAND crew has been cracking our neuron to work out some shit!!!
6 months had passed.....
Life was so busy for us, until we manage to sit down in a humble mamak shop to talk about Malaysian politics until………

A Thunder bolt shot our minor brains.
Faster than the speed of Superman & The team spirit of the miserable yet adorable Smurf plus the nonsense power of Skeletor, we came up with….

“ DISCOLAH ”

We are the Kids of the 80’s, & the geeks of the 90’s presents you our very 1st nothing extravagant theme nite [ as the statement above suggested ] .
Ermmmmm….kids of the 90’s are welcome as well…..
Everybody [ father & mother as well ] can pop by, but make sure come with your 80’s suit…
AWAS / WARNING / ACHTUNG… there will be prizes from the owner of LAH’LAH’LAND for the best Male & Female Homosapiens!!!!

Tips from US: If you mind is blank, we offer here some pic of the 80’s generation. You may ask your parents too!!!! If they did indulge in the 80’ scene. AHHH!!! Almost forget, check out people like Amy Search , David HasselHoff, or McGuyver or Anita Mui or Leslie Cheung. They are my best poster pin ups idol.

Music wise….ermmmmm
The duo [ IvanX + Darth Sid ] won’t pull the handbrakes, coz Michael Knight is still the Rider in the arsenal automobile.
Expect from chezzy discoball anthem to the soapy housy tunes & some injections of indecent beats which classified as off sync adjacent to the era.
